Greenhouse of Congo DRC will provide housing opportunities for women, and their children, that are unable to locate safe housing accommodations. We are currently seeking the community support required to secure a housing unit and the materials required to care for our residents in a compassionate and efficient manner. Our proposed facility will include bedrooms, a greenhouse, and living area that can accommodate up to fifty individuals.
Every applicant will be required to meet with representatives of our organization in order to complete a brief evaluation prior to admittance into our program. This meeting provides potential residents with the opportunity to discuss their current housing situation and for our staff members to determine if the organization is a proper match for their life skills development needs.
After the enrollment process has been completed, our residents will be registered in life skills development programs that are offered by our representatives and outside community programs. Every participant will have the chance to learn vital vocational via our fully operational greenhouse. After successful completion of our training program, every woman will have skill set required to grow their own food and sell it throughout the community. This entrepreneurship program will allow our residents to care for themselves and loved ones in a healthy manner.
 In addition to our outreach programs, each resident will be provided with daily nutritious meals and essential clothing items. Every child that lives in our facility will be enrolled in a local school program to ensure that a strong emphasis is placed upon their education. Lastly, we will recruit a team of health professionals that will be available to care for our residents. Our organization’s objectives are accomplished by an implementation of stimulating activities and materials that are organized around a well-developed prospectus.
